To connect/reassign controllers while playing Storm Lancers, follow these steps:
- While in-game, press the HOME button on your controller to return to the Nintendo Switch™ Home Menu.
- Select the Controllers icon from the main menu bar located at the bottom of the screen.
- While on the Controllers screen, select Change Grip/Order.

Press and hold the SYNC button on the controller you wish to pair. The location of this button varies:
- Joy-Con™: On the flat, inside edge between the L and R buttons.
- Nintendo Switch™ Pro Controller: At the top of the controller, to the left of the USB-C port.
- The controller's LED lights will start flashing. When the controller is paired, the controller will appear on the screen, and the corresponding controller LED will remain lit.

On the "Change Grip/Order" screen, press the indicated buttons to confirm how the controller will be used.
- To confirm a dual-controller grip, press the L and R Buttons on the controller.
- To confirm a horizontal (single) grip, press the SL and SR Buttons on the Joy-Con.
- Press the A button to confirm the pairing and return to the previous screen.

Go back to the game from the Home Menu to begin using your newly connected controller.
